I’ve lost/broken/scratched quite a few pairs of expensive sunglasses in my life. I once dropped a pair of Ray Bans, precisely at the time I took a step forward — they didn’t break, but smooshing them into the New York City sidewalk with my foot made the lenses look like I took sandpaper to them. But because I paid close to $200 for those polarized lenses, you better believe I wore those bad boys for a good year after.
And this is why we can’t have nice things.
I’ve recently decided that some luxuries, like expensive sunglasses, are better left for other people. So, this year, I’m on the lookout for a pair of glasses that are cute, but no more than $100. The good news: It’s an embarrassment of riches. The bad news: I’m bad at making decisions. (Kind of learning toward #5, though). Here, my 15 favorite pairs of sunglasses under $100.
