With Bonnaroo in our rear-view mirror, we are still coming down from our latest summer music festival kick here at L&C. But with Summerfest in Milwaukee starting next week, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas come July and of course Lollapalooza in Chicago in August, there are plenty more opportunities to break out your best summer concert style. We have all the hottest looks to keep you rocking all summer long, no matter what your style vibe is.
For those who frolicked at Bonnaroo, or are looking forward to Lollapalooza, these are perfect opportunities to break out your inner hippie and rock the retro vibe. Go for easy and breezy with a tie dye cotton dress like this one from Revolve Clothing, that is also perfect as a beach cover up. Or wear your favorite pair of jean cut-offs with a tank and this turban from NastyGal. Celebs like Eva Mendes and Kourtney Kardashian love turbans, and they’re also perfect for second-day fest hair. Another option is a tunic from Free People, which will transition into fall with jeans and a sweater (all above).
Summerfest can be a more sporty and casual vibe, as it extends over two weekends and includes weekday concerts too! Plenty of time to hear all your favorite artists, but you might have to throw a change of clothes into your work bag. Go for basic black with an flowy dress like this one from NastyGal or take off your work blazer and pair a cami with these tiered shorts (below). You could also pair them with a comfy tee! Graphic tees are all the rage this summer, and this American classic would also be a great choice for the Fourth of July. If you’re going to go for a more basic outfit, jazz it up with colorful accessories, like a cross body bag from Urban Outfitters (above right).
And of course the Electric Daisy Carnival is going to be full of bright pastel styles like these patterned shorts (above) or bright shades (below). Pair a scoop back dress you might already have in your closet with a bold statement necklace and bright colored eye makeup for more unexpected pops of color. Or go full on pastel with a bright outfit, paired with equally eye catching black accessories like a totally practical fanny pack (not just for moms now!) and a floppy hat from Revolve Clothing to keep your hair in check while you dance the night away.
No matter what your style, festivals are great places to see all your favorite bands at one time, or find a an up and coming group you love, so always remember to just be comfortable, stay cool, and dance your heart out!
