Is it just us, or does your holiday shopping list seem to get longer (and more complicated) each year? What started off as a short list comprised of immediate family and best friends has turned into an Excel workbook of co-workers, significant others, in-laws, nieces, nephews…and immediate family and best friends.
To help us all get through the holiday season happily (and with our bank accounts in the black), we’ve put together a series of holiday gift guides, broken down by receiver.
First up, one for the ladies.
When buying gifts for our girlfriends, co-workers and sisters, we like to think in terms of “little luxuries.” Things that they’ll love, but might not always buy for themselves (i.e., the good mascara), or gifts that will make them happy every day (the “Eat Cake for Breakfast” mug, or fuzzy slippers), for example. This way, you’ll ensure your gifts have style and are appreciated, without requiring you to go into credit card debt. (Most of the items pictured above are under $50!)
