Part one of our gift guide was a list for the ladies, which was the easy part, because we basically just thought about what we wanted, and weeded out anything that was really expensive (Chloe bag) or super lame (immersion blender).
Part two, ideas for man-gifts, was a bit harder. So, we called in reinforcements and got our boyfriends and husbands to give us a few ideas on this one. A few of the key takeaways from our conversations included, 1.) that men like gifts that pertain to their favorite hobbies, which in this group were golf, skiing, and watching football. And 2.) Upgraded versions of practical things that they hate buying for themselves, like expensive razors and socks. Yes, “socks” was a real suggestion.
Here’s what we came up with, which got the final seal of approval from our focus group of significant others.
