If you’re thinking about getting your hair done or going out to eat in the next week, a slight tweak in your plans can mean having your fun and supporting a good cause, too. All three of these upcoming events promise good times, and the donation of a percentage of profits to the One Fund, to support those affected by the Boston Marathon Attacks.
Boston Strong Party
Tomorrow, May 8, don your best Boston sports gear and head to Cafeteria on Newbury Street for the Boston Strong Party. Tickets start at $25 and include a wine tasting, appetizers, and a silent auction and raffle.
Girls Night Out at Blo Blow Dry Bar
On Thursday, May 9, Blo South End will host “the ultimate girls night out,” which means polish changes, a wine tasting sponsored by the Urban Grape, sweet treats from Robin’s Candy Shoppe, and spring style tips from two of our favorite style bloggers, Amy Parker of Good Looks Daily and Tiffani Rogers of Style by Tiffani. Oh, and there will blow outs. Get your tickets here.
Boston Bites Back
More than 100 local chefs will come together for a fundraiser at Fenway Park on May 15, which looks like it’s shaping up to be quite the experience. Participating chefs including Ken Oringer of Clio, Toro, Uni and Coppa; Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger and Blue Dragon; Jeremy Sewall of Eastern Standard; and Jody Adams of Rialto, will be cooking behind concession stands set up around the park.
