When you’re a celebrity, stacking your closet with designer fashion isn’t such a big deal. If you’re one of us normal folk, you may not have the means to get your outfit right off of the runway. You can, however, draw inspiration from celebrities to create your own look…at an affordable price!

BLUE JEANS BABY
The destroyed and distressed jeans trend has been making its rounds for quite a while now. Add the “boyfriend” fit, and a new style is born. A favorite of model Alessandra Ambrosio, and Chrissy Tiegen, these jeans are perfect for the warmer months and look fabulous with both flats and heels.
The comfy cropped style retail for about $148, but have been seen on sale at Nordstrom Rack and Saks Off 5th for around $65. Even better, the One Teaspoon website has had them on sale for $50 during their Mid-Year Sale. If you can catch them on sale, more power to you! If you’re not so lucky, check out this $45 pair by RSQ Jeans which can be purchased in-stores or online at Tilly’s. If you aren’t satisfied with this pair, try PacSun, Charlotte Russe, Forever21, and Urban Outfitters for a wide selection of destroyed boyfriend jeans for every price range.

WEAR YOUR GREENS
Remember that fantastic “KALE” sweatshirt from Beyonce’s ‘7/11’ video? Well Queen Bey certainly started a trend, prompting a slew of celebs to purchase their own. Lena Dunham, Rachel McAdams, and even Rihanna each have sported the plant-themed top.
If you love the idea of repping kale across your chest, but are looking for something more affordable, you’re in luck. Urban Outfitters has the gray and green versions for a few bucks cheaper than the Sub_Urban Riot online store, but there’s a way less expensive dupe out there! Target sells a women’s tank top version in Gray and Green for $14.99, and it honestly looks likes a Sub_Urban Riot original. The only catch here is it’s only sold in-stores!
The Real: Sub_Urban Riot “Kale Unisex Crew Sweatshirt” $64
The Steal: LA Local Pride by Tom Snyder “Women’s Tank Top Kale – Gray” $14.99
