With NYFW kicking off, there’s no shortage of fashion news in the air, and we’ve got 4 of our favorite stories to bring you. To get you started in the fashion spirit, check out Tommy Ton’s Style.com snaps of the glamorous ladies that are frequenting Lincoln Center…
1. Say what? A new study revealed that New York Fashion Week generates an annual revenue of almost $900 million for the city. That’s a lot of Louboutins… (Fashion Times)
2. Not that we need any more Jenner/Kardashian news blowing up our feed, but we do appreciate a good photoshoot when we see one, and Kendall’s March cover of Allure is definitely envy-worthy. With curls fit for a supermodel and skimpy lingerie just in time for Feb. 14th, it’ll give you some major Valentine’s Day inspiration (Allure).
3. Pucci aficionados will have one last chance to appreciate Peter Dundas’ collections as it’s rumored that February 28th will be his last show for the brand. His replacement? Nothing is confirmed, but Italian designer Marco Zanini is rumored to be in the running. At least this will give the fashion crowd something else to buzz about besides Kanye’s collection for Adidas (WWD)
4. Speaking of Kanye West’s collection for Adidas, the controversial rapper has tried his hand in fashion again, and if we had to sum up the collection in a few words, “barely there” might just have to do. With way too many nude crop tops to count, the looks definitely aren’t for the faint of heart, or the weather conscious (Daily Mail).
