1. First Night | Copley Square
If you’re looking for a low-key night, Boston’s famous First Night is one for the family. Copley Square will be filled with Bostonians enjoying the ice sculptures, musical acts, and of course the midnight countdown.
2. The Emerald Red Carpet Affair | The Emerald Lounge, Revere Hotel
The Revere Hotel is hosting two different events. The first being the Red Carpet Affair, which is a “dress to impress” evening featuring signature cocktails, music, and a midnight champagne toast. 3. 6th Annual Timeless Gala, a BOND Evening |The Colonnade Boston Hotel
The Colonnade is throwing a James Bond themed “timeless” evening complete with a 007-esque red carpet. This party will certainly give you an Old Hollywood vibe and more importantly an excuse to pull out that fabulous ball gown from the back of your closet that you’ve always been dying to wear. 4. Rhapsody in Blue | The Liberty Hotel

5. 50 Shades of Gray Party | The Greatest Bar
If you loved the book and are dying for the movie to come out, this event definitely seems intriguing. For tickets.
6. New Year’s Eve 1980s Time Warp | The Beat Hotel, Cambridge
With promise of tunes from The Smiths, Blondie, Madonna, Devo, and Cyndi Lauper, if you’re looking to spend your night reliving your big hair and neon clothing days, this party will have you covered! For more info.
7. Discothèque Burlesque New Year’s Eve | Beehive
Any party that’s Parisian themed, count me in! Beehive promises an “evening of bohemian decadence and eccentric fun,” so grab your favorite flapper dress and join the party. More info.
8. Black Tie New Years Eve Party | The New England Aquarium
The Aquarium boasts that it’s the only New Years party where you can dance with more than 80 penguins and your centerpiece will be a 200,000 gallon Giant Ocean tank, and we’d have to agree with them. But really, what sounds more fun than a black tie evening at the aquarium? For tickets and info.
9. Top of the Hub New Years Eve
Why not spend your New Years with amazing views of your favorite city? This annual New Years event features a five-course dinner and champagne toast, for tickets check out their site.
