This Halloween, celebrate by doing something that’s totally the opposite of what the holiday is all about….while still being festive!
What the heck am I talking about?
The Handle Bar‘s Haunted Hay Ride: A Halloween-themed spin class for those of us whose metabolisms can no longer handle eating a pillowcase full of fun-sized Snickers bars (OK, and who might look a little creepy walking around with the kids).
Read on for full details.
According to the Handle Bar, “Riders will enter a studio that’s dimly lit with orange lights and for the next 45 minutes, find themselves jumping in and out of the saddle as a live DJ spins a soundtrack of remixed Halloween tunes.” They also promise that “Thriller” will be on the playlist.
The best part of the whole thing? Costumes, while not required, are highly encouraged. So you can spin in a tutu, sweat in a sombrero or ride off into the moonlight dressed an ET. Not feeling the costume idea? No worries. Everyone who attends the class will also get a “haunted hay-ride” tank top (pictured above), so you’ll still be part of the fun.
