Do you ever just find yourself falling into that bottomless hole known as YouTube? You go on for one video and before you know it, you’ve watched 7 on alien conspiracies, 5 BuzzFeed LadyLike videos and several different ways on how to wing your liner. Well, YouTube may be the best place to waste your time away, but why not have a purpose? Some of the most popular YouTubers are MUAs, aka Makeup Artists and it’s not hard to see why. Some go to elaborate lengths to show either tutorials, beauty vlogs or just tips and tricks.
So, to help with your YouTube MUA obsession (you either already have one or you will after reading this article), here are 5 beauty YouTube accounts we LOVE.
Raschelle, otherwise known as Msroshposh on YouTube and Instagram, has all types of videos. From simple looks to full on red carpet recreations, Raschelle is a great MUA to go to when you need inspiration. Her fierce stares are always on point and her highlight is always poppin’.And if you love Beyonce, Nicki Minaj or Rihanna, this channel is for you because she has a ton of look recreations based off of these boss women.
Andrea Brooks and her YouTube channel are amazing! While you may come for her makeup looks, you’ll stay for her fun advice vlogs and life hacks. She’s super entertaining and still super relatable. She also has great costume ideas and hair tutorials; it’s literally a one-stop-shop for all your life needs.
Bretman is seriously one of the most entertaining social media personalities at the moment. His makeup is always on point and he does super funny and elaborate tutorials. The great thing about his channel is that he does regular YouTube challenges and “tag” videos with his sister and niece (along with his SUPER cute new dog Ele). And if you’re into longer vlogs, he’s got that too.
Lauren Elizabeth is the epitome of a makeup blogger. She has pristine photographs and amazing layouts on both Instagram and YouTube and her decor is super light and open; it’s aesthetically pleasing to watch her stuff. While her channel has turned more into a vlog or storytime channel, she still has impeccable makeup and tutorials you can follow along with (along with some great product reviews.
Nura Afia is slaying the game right now! Her makeup is perfect and she has an impressive eyebrow game, but it’s also the way she accessorizes that caught my eye! From body jewlery to color palettes and highlighters that kill to top it all off, Nura’s channel is great for anyone from beginners to seasoned professionals who just want to see a woman work! She stands out in a time when YouTube MUAs (makeup artists) can be carbon copies of each other, and that’s super refreshing and much needed. Definitely a must-see YouTuber.
