Over your New Year’s resolution already? No Big Deal. Because we have another one for you, and it’s probably the most-fun goal ever: Make your home a place you love. If you’re going to spend every day of your life there, it should be somewhere that makes you feel happy and inspired. So it’s actually a pretty important resolution, too.
We get that you probably don’t have $10k lying around to go out and buy all new furniture, but luckily, giving a room a new look can be as easy as adding in or swapping out a few accessories, like curtains, a rug or my personal favorite … throw pillows. I probably own at least 25 throw pillows. They’re on sofas and chairs, on beds, and stuffed in closets for future use. From where I’m sitting, I can actually see seven of them right now (which makes me think I might own more than 25…).
Here’s why I like them so much: Throw pillows are one of simplest, yet most effective ways to give a room a makeover. For one, it takes about nine seconds to change them out. Plus, they’re inexpensive to replace with the season, or as your tastes change. Finally, there are literally thousands (millions?) of different patterns, colors, and sizes out there, so finding something you like is easy. Or in my case, too easy.
So now that you’re all amped up about how many throw pillows you’re going to scatter around your house, I have some fun news: We’ve partnered with one of our favorite pillow resources, The Pillow Collection, to give you a chance to win a pair of pillows to brighten up, glam up, or cozy up your space. The winner gets to choose from The Pillow Collection’s catalog of 4,000 fabrics, which can be ordered in nine different sizes (hopefully you’ll be able to find something you like), and are entirely American made. Plus, if you ever decide you want to change them up, you can order new ones from their site for just $55 each.
Here are a few of my favorites on their site right now …and scroll below to see how to win a pair for your home.
